About Us

Barney started in the plumbing business when he was nine years old. His father owned “Jack’s Plumbing” in Warren, PA for over 30 years. After Barney worked for his father for ten years, he went off to college to pursue the computer business. Following many successes in computer programming, sales and marketing, micrographics, document imaging, and information technology, he decided to start a second career, and return to his roots.

His Sons, John, Chris, and Patrick all have various rolls in the business. John is a Network Engineer with WWT and is responsible for all IT services for the company. Chris works as a support plumber and pulls all the permits for the company. Patrick is a licensed Master Plumber.

We also have two more “family” employees, Steve Ueltschi, a licensed Master Plumber and Jose Guzman also a licensed Master Plumber. Essentially, of the six full time employees, four are Master Plumbers!

Gidders and Sons Plumbing is the preferred plumber for a number of northern Virginia neighborhoods: Kings Park, Kings Park West, Surry Square, Old Forge, Mantua, & MONA (Mom’s of North Arlington).
