Patrick’s work was first-rate and their prices are reasonable. He really knew his craft as a master plumber and showed great respect for our home and our plumbing. I called on a Friday after another plumbing company has been absolutely awful. Within an hour I had an appointment set for Monday and the problem was taken care of very quickly. I described the problem when booking my appointment and when they showed up it was exactly what they guessed based on my layman’s explanation. Super knowledgeable and friendly – awesome customer service.
I got tired of paying the rip-off prices of those plumber companies that have lots of advertising. It took me a while to realize that the expense of all that advertising in print, TV, and elsewhere is passed on to the consumers. I’ve used Gidders and Sons twice and was totally satisfied both times. The first time I needed a new toilet installed in a condo that I own and rent out. They gave me the price over the phone while recommending several different toilets. (I went with The Avalance but that’s another 5-star review.) They showed up on time and completely the job flawlessly. Nearly a half-year later when I decided the home that I live in should have comparable toilets, I called them up and in less than a week, my family and I were sitting pretty, you might say. Great work. Reliable service. And reasonable prices. That’s been my experience.
I’ve done several room remodels over the last 5 years, and without a doubt the most conscientious and reliable has been Gidders and Sons. Have had them back for several small projects, after they took my first floor full bath down to the studs and rebuilt it to my exact specs… on time and will no add-on costs! And trust me, this was a ‘custom’ gig! Anyway, and you are welcome to stop by anytime (off Sideburn by Oak Creek Elementary) to see the work they did. Good luck finding the right contractor- IMO you’re asking exactly the right question: ‘reliability’!
Patrick came out to my home to repair 2 toilets that needed new stop valves amongst other parts. He was great and the work didn’t take long! Thank you!!!

Our water heater was getting very hot, then not working at all. They came out to assess it and diagnosed it as the thermostat. They replaced it while here and it has been working great ever since. They could have easily sold us a new water heater but did not. We are also in another service industry and have referred them to others. All of our clients have also been please with their plumbing work!
Gidders and Sons Plumbing sent a plumber to my townhouse to search for the leak, which could have been an outside underground pipe or an inside toilet. The water was turned off, and it took a few days to determine the problem was with the toilet. I would gladly recommend Gidders and Sons Plumbing for their professionalism, skill, and perseverancel in diagnosing and repairing my water leak and would use them again for any plumbing needs.
They accommodated our schedule, fixed the leak in our kitchen sink, and installed a 3/4 pull on our outside spigot. (Seriously, go two weeks without a kitchen sink. It’s not fun.), and then replaced the leaking pipe in our crawl space. They were polite, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I can’t recommend them highly enough!
Barney &Patrick did a great job installing the plumbing in our addition and worked with us to figure out some details…that was a few years ago and haven’t had a problem. I recommend them to everyone!
